This starts the second Chinese-Japanese War. 1945: The end of the Second World War. The Sovjet Union takes over Manchuria. 1949: Manchuria becomes again a part of China. After World War Two, Staff Sgt. Jack, W2WMV (/C1, /C2, /C3 /C9), was a very active rado- amateur during his stay in Asia. He was a member of the 350th Fighter Squadron, Army Air Force. Before he became a soldier he was employed in a boxing-factory. John Malcolm "Jack" Closson, (W2WMV and W8WMV (1941)) died at the young age of 38 on may 19, 1958 in Sacramenty County California. At that time he held the call of K6AVK.
