Cain, K1TN The HAM Radio Encyclopedia, by Stan Gulich, SM7WT (2014) SM7WT did what I had in mind for years, writing all kind of stuff belonging to the world of Amateur Radio. But so many other things kept me busy that I failed to write down all in a book. But Stan Gulich from Sweden did. And How. Stan was born in 1939 and became a ham in 1956. He had been active ever since and likes to work DX on CW and SSB on all bands from 2 to 80 Meters. Lack of space makes it impossible for him to have an antenna for 160 Meters. Since 2006, he uses the call SF7WT. He has 367 entities confirmed for DXCC but stil need Pratas and North Korea to have Full House. Stan likes rag-chewing, and exchanging QSLs via the bureau is as natural as having a QSO. Most of all Stan likes personal contacts. He visited the USA 17 times and was once visiting Mexico City. Meeting other hams did Stan decide to write his first book "Thanks to Amateur Radio" in 1994, presenting 178 hams along with stories about hams helping the world and DXpeditions. In 2006, Stan began to assemble information for another book, but after seven years he had so much information that it would cover eight books. That´s the reason for presenting all this as a PDF-file. I can recommend the PDF-Book for 100 percent. Thanks Stan for this piece of work.
